Winter fun duiken - Scublue Dive Center

Ook gedurende winter kijken wij naar mogelijkheden om te blijven duiken. Daarom organiseert Scublue elke winter meerdere winter fun duiken naar indoor duikparadijs TODI en voor droogpak duikers andere leuke duiktrips. Ga jij met ons mee?

The winter season starts in mid-October and ends in mid-April.

Zevenhuizerplas, Zuid-Holland (new years dive)

A beautiful underwater nature of sandy bottoms, plants, clay formations and reed banks form the scenario here. Spot large pike along the reed collar and follow the fist-thick eels at the clay walls. Also dive at the islets where large schools of young fish hide from predatory fish.

Dreischoor Gemaal 4, Zeeland

Dreischor Gemaal is a popular and special diving location with lots of underwater life. The incidence of light along the colourfully overgrown pillars of the pumping station is fascinating, and almost looks Mediterranean. The whole forms a fascinating spectacle. Almost every centimetre is overgrown in all sorts of shapes, colours and variations. Swim parallel to the dike, in a south-easterly direction, to find the pumping station.

Slag Stormvogel, Zuid-Holland

Slag Stormvogel in South Holland is a real wreck graveyard. Many ships were lost here when the Oostvoornse Meer was still part of the supply route to Rotterdam and Den Briel. You will also find numerous objects here, such as a Volkswagen, a pile forest and a slide. Follow the tire track or search the sand for flatfish, shrimp and eels. The canyon rim is also particularly beautiful, where you can find fossil remains.

Bergse Diepsluis Oesterdam (81), Zeeland

Bergse Diepsluis Oesterdam in Tholen is a popular diving spot and one of the few diving locations in the Oosterschelde without a current. You can always dive in the Bergse Diepsluis. This also makes the location perfect as a practice location for novice Oosterschelde divers. Characteristic of the underwater life are the many cuttlefish. Every year, divers place cuttlefish tents, where the cuttlefish can attach their eggs. Squid and seahorses also use these breeding grounds.
